ISLAND OF PAG CROATIA
With its surface of 280 sq. km., the island of Pag is one of the biggest Adriatic islands. The coastline of the island of Pag is rich with beaches (most famous one is Zrče), bays and beautiful karst areas with few pine trees and Holm oaks.
The island of Pag is rich with aromatic herbs, which give a special, characteristic taste to the lamb from the island and make it one of the best in Europe. However, among the karst valleys there are valuable fields that bare especially tasteful vegetables for the local population. The most famous fields are in Povljana. During your stay you should taste famous Povljana's tomatoes, peppers and cabbage. Also, other villages on the island of Pag offer their guests rich historic heritage.

Novalja
Novalja is the best known tourist destination on the island of Pag. It is 25 minutes away from the village of Povljana i and the apartments Pag Aurora Povljana. The beach Zrče is a must because of its sport and recreational daily contents and the richest night life on the whole Adriatic sea.
Mandre
Mandre is a well known tourist locality, which is 20 minutes away from the apartments Pag Aurora Povljane. The guests have a beautiful view of the surroundings islands of Maun, Škrda, Silba and Olib from the town. A beautiful gravel beach stretches along the entire length of the town's coastline.
The town of Pag
The biggest and the most significant town on the island is the town of Pag. The town of Pag is only 10-15 minutes away from the apartments Aurora in Povljana
The town of Pag is the hometown of the sea salt.
The importance of the salt was the main reason for the foundation of the town of Pag in the 15th century. Beside the tourism, salt is one of the main industries in the town of Pag even today.
The city of Pag is also famous for its folk handicrafts. The Pag lace is a decoration in many homes, but it is also a unique work of art.
Šimuni
Šimuni is a picturesque village on the southwest, peaceful side of the island of Pag. It is 20 minutes away from Povljana and the apartments Pag Aurora. A camp is situated in the pine woods, while beautiful marina Šimuni provides shelter in another bay.
We recommend you to visit also other little villages famous for their excellent wines, Pag cheese, lamb and Dalmatian ham. Villages Miškovići and Kolan, and well known fishermen's villages Smokvica and Dinjška are especially interesting.
